You are invited to join Humboldt alumni, friends, families, faculty, and staff for a fun evening of live music featuring The Distractions - an all staff cover band at the Arcata Theatre Lounge in Arcata! Rapper B1g $uAV, also a Humboldt staff member, joins as opener whose lyricism and flow speak on environmentalism and loving the earth. Additionally, Spitbug, a Cal Poly Humboldt all-student band, will be performing. They are known for their fluttering folk-pop sound.
Be ready to sing and dance to cover tunes from the 80s and beyond. This will be the first Forever Humboldt get-together of the year and will celebrate the anniversary of becoming Cal Poly Humboldt. It's a fantastic opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the future of the University.
Registration includes a beverage ticket, live music from The Distractions, Spitbug, B1g $uAV, a limited edition Cal Poly Humboldt beanie, and a $5 donation to the Humboldt Loyalty Fund. When you get hungry, concessions will be available for purchase.
