Married alumnus Jennifer Wilcox (MA Env.Ed., 1992), though we didn't know each other at HSU. Met working at redwood State Parks. We have two sons ages 8 and 6. I have been in environmental consulting for almost 12 years after stints with parks & recreation and museum science education. Jennifer is back at State Parks after community relations work in utilities, water agencies, and Program Director of an outdoor science school.

I graduated with my MLIS – Archival Studies from San Jose State University last month (December 2010). I am currently employed with the National Park Service at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in Southern California.

Nearing the end of my real estate career in the greater Sacramento area. I live on two acres in Auburn with my wife and two Collies. I visited the HSU campus in May 2010, and I participate with the TKE alumni group. College days at HSU were some of the best of my lifetime.

I'm currently applying for Ph.D. programs and helping out my community by volunteering. I'm a library volunteer at the Eureka branch. I assist with the English and Spanish story times by reading books and helping the children and parents with the weekly crafts. I also volunteer at Sacred Heart Church as a religious education instructor for 7th and 8th grade students.
